M.PHARM (PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS)
Pharmaceutical analysis serves as a fundamental department dedicated to providing education in contemporary instrumental techniques. It encompasses foundational research concerning the identity, purity, content, and stability of starting materials, excipients, and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Impurities typically arise from the synthesis of active ingredients and are generally monitored in accordance with ICH guidelines and pharmacopoeia standards. The department actively engages in the development of methods for both synthetic and natural drugs, conducts pharmacokinetic studies, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) studies, stability studies, and the elucidation of newly synthesized drugs utilizing infrared spectroscopy and UV techniques. The pharmaceutical analysis department is equipped with modern instruments and possesses robust infrastructure facilities.
