PHARMACOLOGY

Pharmacology is concerned with the examination of drugs and their effects on living organisms (pharmacodynamics). Pharmacodynamics encompasses the interactions between drugs and receptors as well as their mechanisms of action. Additionally, it imparts knowledge regarding practical elements of pharmacological screening (using animal models), calculations in pharmacology, biological standardization, interactions between drugs, and studies on toxicity.
