Admission Details


D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) – 2 Years:

Eligibility: +2 pass with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with either Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics.
Minimum Marks: 40% for SC/ST/SCA/SCC, 45% for others.
  • The qualifying examination must include English as one of the compulsory subjects.
  • Acceptable qualifications include: Intermediate Science, First Year of a 3-Year Degree in Science, Pre-Degree Examination, 10+2 Academic stream in Science, or any equivalent qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
  • Minimum age: The candidate must have completed 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Admission may be based on merit of qualifying examination or through a Pre-Pharmacy Test, if conducted by the institution or as per university/state guidelines.
  • The college and course must be approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for eligibility to register and practice as a pharmacist.

Admission Procedure

Admissions to our Diploma and Undergraduate Pharmacy programs are conducted in accordance with the norms of
Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and the Pharmacy Council of India.

  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
  • Application: Application forms are available at the college office or can be downloaded from the official website.
  • Submission: Submit the completed form along with required documents either in person or by post before the deadline.
  • Selection: Admission is based on merit and subject to the guidelines set by the affiliating university.
  • Counselling: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and admission counselling at the college campus.
  • Fee Payment: Upon selection, candidates must pay the prescribed fees to confirm their admission.

Note: A limited number of management quota seats are available and are filled as per university norms.

Policies

Every student is required to observe disciplined and decorous behaviour both inside and outside the campus and not to indulge in any activity which will tend to bring down the prestige of the College.

  • If a student indulges in malpractice in any of the End Semester theory / practical examination, she shall be liable for punitive action as prescribed from time to time.
  • Students enrolled at our College must recognize their responsibilities towards the faculty, office staff, and fellow students. Failure to maintain appropriate standards of conduct will attract disciplinary action.
  • The College believes that duty, decorum, and discipline are the hallmarks of a good student. Students with such qualities alone can prove to be productive manpower with an appreciable value system. Therefore, erring students would be subjected to certain disciplinary code.
  • The following acts would be deemed acts of indiscipline – any overt or covert act leading to ragging and eve teasing, disruption of classroom activities, or disturbing the studies of other students.
  • Harming the health or safety of staff or students.
  • Misconduct during examination, production of false information, or documents for admission purposes.
